Fees for the 2009-2010 Season:

Bunnies 1st year- $75.00 registration fee, plus $125.00 for fundraising (no bond cheque)
Bunnies 2nd year-$100.00 registration fee, plus $125.00 for fundraising (no bond cheque)
Bunnies 3rd year-$125.00 registration fee, plus $125.00 for fundraising (no bond cheque)
Novice to Belle REGIONAL level $275.00 registration, plus $125 fundraising and $150 bond
Novice to Belle PROVINCIAL level $375 registration plus $125 fundraising and $150 bond
$50 late fee for Novice to Belle after May 1st 2009.
If bond cheques are to be cashed then they are to be dated for September 2009.
You also have the option to work off your bond, please see your team manager for more details.
Refunds prior to Sept. 30th are subject to a $25 administration charge. Half of the registration fee may be refunded prior to November 15th and no refunds will be granted after November 15th.
An email address is mandatory on the registration form for distribution of DRA news and information. Your email address will not be shared or used for any other purpose.
Proof of your child's Birth Certificate must be provided at the time of registration if any of the following circumstances apply:
*This is the first time your child has played Ringette.
The player's Birth Certificate along with a completed Ontario Ringette Association Membership Form must be submitted (ORA fees are included in fee schedule above). ORA membership forms can be obtained from the Registrar or click here.
*Your child has played Ringette for another Association
A Release Form can be obtained from the Registrar for the association you previously played for, which must be completed and signed by both the releasing and accepting associations. Your Birth Certificate along with a new Ontario Ringette Association Membership Form must be submitted. ORA membership forms can be obtained from the Registrar.
THE REGISTRATION AGE GROUPS ARE:
- Bunny 7 Years & Under
- Novice 9 Years & Under
- Petite 11 Years & Under
- Tween 13 Years & Under
- Junior 15 Years & Under
- Belle 18 Years & Under
- Open 19 Years & Under
- Masters 30 Years & Under
D.D.A.A. Policy on Drugs and Alcohol
- Players are not to be in possession of, not under the influence of, any drugs or alcohol while participating in games or practices or traveling to and from games or practices.
- Infractions to the above will result in either short term suspension or permanent dismissal from the team as determined by the Ringette association.
- Coaches are responsible for reporting known infractions to the Ringette association.
- Alcohol or drugs are not permitted on or in vehicles in which D.D.A.A athletes are being transported.
- Athletes, parents/guardians and persons traveling with the team are expected to conform to the laws of the province.
- The D.D.A.A reserves the right to deny access to persons who travel with the team or on team buses. Prior to departure, the team manager is expected to present a manifest to the Ringette President.
Withdrawal & Refund Policy
- If a player withdraws before August 31 - full refund.
- Withdraws September 1 to September 30 - $25.00 admin fee.
- Withdraws October 1 to October 31 - $25.00 admin fee and $100.00 ice fee.
- Withdraws after November 1 - no refund.
- Refunds for players for medical reasons will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
Players and Parents/Guardians agree to abide by the rules, regulations and by-laws of the Dorchester and District Athletic Association. I/we also acknowledge that the D.D.A.A is not responsible for any injuries or accidents, either prior, during or following games or practices, nor for any damage or loss of personal belongings, however caused, and the D.D.A.A shall be released from any and all such claims. I acknowledge and understand the risks involved to my child as a participant in this activity. I hereby declare that the above information is true to the best of my knowledge and belief, and give permission for the above named child to participate in the program.
